  • During a contract with KCUR 89.3, Kansas City’s NPR station, I reported on public safety and development. I produced both audio spots for the station’s on-air programs and written stories for their website.
  • Reported on the Kansas Statehouse and other news for various local newsrooms, most notably the Kansas Reflector, a nonprofit news outlet.
  • Covered a student press First Amendment lawsuit against a local university, wrote about a state law that allows judges to order alleged sex crime victims to submit to psychological evaluations and wrote about an attempt to change state law after several rural fire fatalities were determined homicides.
